The Jagatjit Palace that presently houses the Sainik School, is a beautiful building located in Kapurthala. In the past, Maharaja Jagatjit Singh resided here and the palace is modelled after the Versailles Palace.

Moorish Mosque

The mosque was built by Maharaja Jagatjit Singh, who was the last ruler of Kapurthala. Construction of the mosque started in 1917 and was completed in 1930. Presently, this mosque is a National Monument which is managed by the Archaeological Survey of India.

Kanjli Wetlands

Kanjli Wetlands is a man-made wetland, situated in the Kapurthala District of the state of Punjab. The building was made in 1870 by the head works across the perennial River Bien.

State Gurudwara

The State Gurudwara which was built in 1915 is known for its Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. This gurudwara was earlier constructed in red sandstone, but is now painted white. It is set in a landscaped garden, which enhances the beauty of this attraction.

Rail Coach Factory

Established in 1986, the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) is the second coach manufacturing unit of Indian Railways. Its foundation stone was laid by the then Prime Minister of India Mr. Rajiv Gandhi.

Elysee Palace

The Elysee Palace was constructed in 1862 by Kanwar Bikrama Singh. The palace is well-known for its beautiful and imposing facade. The palace has been converted into MGN Public School of Kapurthala.
